Welcome to Glasgow and Scotland

In 2014 the city of Glasgow will host the Commonwealth games on behalf of Scotland. Unfortunately we are prohibited from talking about this on the internet as it may harm Corporate revenues . This site has nothing to do with the official games site or organization.

Whether you are someone who intends to visit the city  or an ex-pat looking to keep up to date with the changes in the city this site is designed to give you all a basic introduction to the city and Scotland it's self.

Through out the site you will find information on the city. A bit of history blended with info on famous Glaswegians and Scots who have shaped the modern world. We also have sections dedicated to Glasgow's football clubs , the city's "patter" (an essential if you want to use public transport as Glaswegians will talk to anyone at any time about anything) , the city's history as well as image galleries of Modern Glasgow and the Scottish Highlands.

In our "wallpaper" section you will find free desktop backgrounds for your computer. We also have a section dedicated to Chic Murray one of Scotland's greatest comedians. We also plan to open a social network to allow expats to keep in touch with friends and family and to allow visitors to get information from Glaswegian's on the city and the rest of Scotland.

Why not visit our social network? There are already plenty of music , video and  pictures uploaded ranging from pictures from Scotland and Glasgow through to some Scottish comedy greats and Scottish musicians both established and new.
